Have another chunk of the Reincarnated Tim 'verse! I couldn't resist writing this. The plot bunny's just too seductive and interesting for me. *rueful smile* This one was written with prompt ideas from some of my Tumblr friends (afewnovelideas : Hmmmm… Would it be possible to have “Tim” having a conversation with one or all of his previous incarnations in a dream state? and kyrdwyn: Hm. Either Tim as Melisande? Or maybe when Dick or Bruce figures out who Tim is/has been?). I have more prompts to write still and would love to get even more because this really is a prompt 'verse. For a twenty year old woman, I did not know a lot about the world. It wasn't because I was stupid, or that I just didn't care, I was because I had no choice. No escape. People often judge me. They don't see me as someone worthy of a life. On the outside they show me love and gratitude. They show me the world, almost letting me touch it like a flame but as soon as they want it to end, all they have to do is click their fingers. They could give me anything but the world and I still wouldn't be happy. I know how these people work though, I know that really, deep inside them, no one cares. I'll be forgotten. No one remembers Suzie. I was just there to them all. I was just there. I lived in a filthy world, where they keep their secrets buried in holes and pits, that seemed to never end. Where no sunlight hit through the opaque windows. In my world, there was nothing, just the black free fall which I would soon land in. It'd be nice though. Just to die. Just to let it go. Just to be free.

Jason and Dick

The door creaks open. He doesn't need this. He has a fucking head cold. It feels like his sinuses are trying to pound their way out of his skull. And everything ACHES. He also vividly remembers what happened the LAST time he'd been sick. No, so not going there again.

So when Dick pokes his head through the door, it's to find a very large gun levelled at him. “I just brought some soup,” the acrobat offers, with what for him is probably a cautious smile as he holds up the covered pot. The expression is still FAR to damned happy. Jason considers shooting him on principle.

 




Tim and Colin (and Damian)

They watch as the little fuzzball zooms by, followed by a very determined and grim Damian. There's a crash from the other room, then the kitten is dashing through the kitchen again. Followed by Damian. Again. Who now seems to be favouring his left leg and is definitely not keeping up.

“I told him I'd help with bathing,” Colin explains calmly as they watch the pair.

Tim nods and does a credible job of not snickering as the kitten again barrels across the linoleum and Damian utterly fails to make the turn. Instead he raises his hand and coughs. Discreetly. Alright, maybe not that discreet, given the way the redhead is eyeing him and trying not to laugh himself.

 

 

Bruce and Alfred

“No. I don't have time.”

“Really now, sir,” come the admonishing words.

“I said--”

“Frankly sir, I don't care what you said. Either you go to Damian's school play, or some very unfortunate things will be happening to your suits.” He gives the man a meaningful look, so that he knows exactly which suits the butler was talking about.

 

 

Damian and Stephanie

“Shut up you witch!” Damian shrieks indignantly, his temper fraying. The girl's incessant nattering was just too much!

“Awww, but it was so adorable! Damian and Colin sitting in a tree--”

“It wasn't a tree!”

Stephanie smirks. “No, it was auxiliary cave nine. Where there are 27 different cameras.  Wanna guess where those feeds went?” She dodges with a snicker as Damian launches himself her way, his eyes dark and murderous.

I'm looking for fic based off the senerio suggested in Batman R.I.P about Thomas and Martha Wayne. I've read The Good Lord Protect us by Betty and she mentions one by __marcelo, but I can't find it. So if anyone can tell me where to find that, or any similar fics I'd be really grateful. If this is in the wrong place and people can tell me where to ask properly, please do so.

I really shouldn't have written this today, not after promising more Dragon 'Verse and Alliance, but Bobby started talking in my head so loudly that I couldn't write anything else. This ties into a ficlet I did a long while back over here though it's not required reading for this one. Hope everyone likes the story!
